Job summary

Worley Consulting is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for automation and instrumentation projects across energy, nuclear, oil & gas, and mining sectors in Canada. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement to gather data and deliver detailed proposals.

Candidates should have 7–10 years of estimating experience, a degree in engineering, and strong proficiency with Cleopatra Enterprise and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in automation, instrumentation & control.
• Strong knowledge of automation and I&C instrumentation.
• Experience with cost estimating and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for automation and I&C projects including materials, labor and equipment.
• Review specifications and drawings to ensure accurate scope interpretation.
• Support engineering and project teams with cost data and estimation tools.
• Analyze vendor quotations for competitiveness and risk.
