About This Role

As a leader in ERP project delivery, you will guide initiatives from feasibility through to go-live, ensuring alignment with Socomec’s project methodology and strategic objectives. You will serve as a key driver in shaping solutions, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining strong stakeholder communication to achieve defined Quality, Cost, and Lead-Time (QCL) targets. Beyond deployment, you’ll oversee the evolution of ERP systems within your functional domain, proactively managing risks and collaborating with departments to deliver measurable benefits. Additionally, you will support and enhance existing systems, contributing to their continuous improvement and long-term alignment with the broader IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead ERP projects from initiation through go-live, ensuring alignment with Socomec’s project methodology and QCL (Quality, Cost, Lead-Time) objectives.
  • Oversee project deliverables across all phases (e.g., planning, risk assessment, documentation), and manage proactive risk mitigation.
  • Propose and enforce standardized, scalable solutions with minimal customization.
  • Guide internal and external project teams, fostering collaboration and aligning all stakeholders on goals, planning, and technical solutions.
  • Evaluate internal contributors and external partners, ensuring long-term, value-driven relationships.
  • Provide regular reporting to management, maintain project documentation, and raise alerts when needed.
  • Define and execute a communication plan; lead Steering Committees and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with functional teams to measure, assess, and optimize project outcomes.
  • Ensure ERP solution consistency with IT strategy, scalability, total cost of ownership, and core system (kernel) integrity.
  • Support continuous improvement through performance initiatives, enhancement request management, and Level 1 issue resolution.

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of successful leadership experience within the electrical manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong experience in ERP project management, Data & process modulization, Pilot action plans and Control & pilot ERP deployments
  • Knowledge or Infor LN, Syspro
  • Knowledge of function processes of the domains (manufacturing, supply chain, finance)
  • Technical architecture experience (server, network and etc.)
  • Knowledge of IT software for the functional domains
  • Solution-focused with a persuasive, pragmatic approach
  • Able to clearly articulate vision and direction
  • Listens actively and values diverse input
  • Business-oriented with strong influencing ability
  • French language preferred
