Job description

The Senior Project Manager (ERP) will be accountable for delivery of a large ERP project as well as managing the client relationship from a delivery standpoint. In addition, the Senior Project Manager (ERP) will also work closely with the Quality Assurance Team, as well as other IT departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Structures and manages integrated projects and programs to achieve expected business results.
2. Manages large, complex ERP projects/programs to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality.
3. Leads teams to deliver integrated client solutions that achieve measurable business results for our clients.
4. Manages the financial aspects of all project initiatives – costs, KPIs, etc.
5. Responsible for communications with our senior leadership team and communicates status and issues regularly.
6. Plans projects or work packages up front by leading the estimation efforts, collaboratively across all IT departments and 3rd party vendors.
7. Mobilizes and manages teams to execute against project plans.
8. Project Tracking, Reporting & Monitoring.
9. Track and provide project status and audit reports.
10. Manage the risk, issue and change resolution process and work with other leaders to take corrective action as necessary.
11. Oversee Project Managers and Business Analysts for the delivery of projects/programs on time, within scope and on budget.
12. Ensure all program communications and status reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership is conducted on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Degree in Computer Science, Business (MBA) and/or Technology.
2. More than 10+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager with a proven track record of successful project delivery and ability to improve project management practices.
3. 5+ years of experience in delivering large ERP implementations.
4. Superior analytical problem-solving ability for dealing with escalated issues from projects under the IT Project Services management.
5. Experience in Health Care (an asset).
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Strong business acumen.
8. A long-term strategic perspective.
9. Ability to mentor, coach and effectively transfer expertise to others.
10. Ability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines.
11. Ability to work collaboratively with other organizational leaders.

This is a hybrid contract role located in Mississauga, ON.
