Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a technical program manager to lead initiatives at the intersection of technology, customer insight, and behavioral science to deliver engaging health and wellness experiences. The TPM will coordinate across Marketing, Distribution, product owners, and technology leaders to translate goals into delivery plans across the life insurance value chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 3-5 years of technical program management expertise in related field.
• 3+ years delivering technology solutions in the life insurance industry, with exposure to marketing and distribution areas (preferred).
• 3+ years experience in health/wellness/behavioral insurance markets and related product development.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the full SDLC for initiatives supporting John Hancock Insurance priorities.
• Responsible for all aspects of technology delivery including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.
• Using background in software engineering and technology to implement technology strategies and ensure delivery.
• Providing cross-functional leadership and alignment for product architecture and IT services delivery.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration to drive alignment and productivity.
