Job summary

Bank of Montreal (BMO) seeks an accomplished Relationship Manager to drive growth through high-value client relationships, lead structuring of complex deals, and coordinate credit approvals. You will manage large client portfolios, negotiate terms, and advance cross-selling initiatives while aligning with bank objectives and risk controls.

You will engage with senior leaders, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and represent BMO in industry forums.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience in Relationship/Account/Portfolio Management in a corporate banking environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred.
Credit qualifications and knowledge according to portfolio requirements.
Seasoned professional with education, experience and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

Facilitates growth through business development and manages key client relationships.
Leads structuring of high-value, complex deals and credit approvals.
Oversees credit approvals and pricing coordination; primary client advocate.
Drives cross-selling, client retention and profitability across portfolios.
