Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our Natural Resource Management team. The position is based in Canada with flexible hybrid work arrangements to balance work and personal life.

The role focuses on environmental planning studies, permitting, and business development across sectors, collaborating with biologists, engineers, and planners to deliver compliant solutions for infrastructure and development projects.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in environmental consulting or related field with emphasis on environmental assessment and permitting.
Experience in business development and client growth across sectors including oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, transportation, renewable energy, and/or water management.
Strong communication and report writing skills; leadership and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Build client relationships through market opportunities, communications, proposals, and business development activities.
Collaborate with staff across Canada for project delivery and client relationships.
Scope, plan, develop, and implement field programs for natural resource, municipal, land development, and infrastructure projects.
Lead staff coordination across technical teams and liaise with clients, government agencies, sub-consultants, and communities.
Lead scoping, development, and execution of environmental planning studies and environmental programs.
