Job summary

Qualifications

• A university degree or post-undergraduate college diploma in planning, environmental studies, biology or a related field.
• 1-3 years’ EA experience, preferably in the consulting industry, with an emphasis on linear infrastructure.
• Strong communication, report writing, organization, interpersonal skills.
• Valid Class G Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Support projects for public and private sector clients related to EA, environmental permitting and approvals, with a focus on linear infrastructure EAs (Individual/Comprehensive EAs, Municipal Class EA, MTO, Hydro One, Metrolinx/TRPAP).
• Support federal EAs and work with Indigenous communities; collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to remove barriers and improve access on roads, highways, transit, and active transportation facilities.
• Support innovative EA consultation processes.
• Learning & Development and ongoing professional growth; be mentored by leaders in EA practice.
