Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a Scheduling Specialist in Calgary to lead the end-to-end scheduling and execution of crude, refined products, LPG, and intermediates movements across North America. You will partner with traders to optimize logistics and ensure compliant, timely operations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in scheduling/logistics within energy, strong Excel/ETRM skills, and a proven ability to manage complex multi-modal networks.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Economics, Logistics or related field.
• Experience in scheduling, logistics or commodity marketing within energy.
• Strong knowledge of North American pipeline/terminal networks.
• Proven ability to manage complex multi-modal logistics operations.
• Experience partnering with commercial teams to support trading.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end scheduling and execution of commodity movements via pipeline, rail, truck, terminal and storage assets.
• Collaborate with traders to manage contracts, forecast capacity, and optimize logistics economics.
• Submit nominations, shipment notices, inventory movements, and related documentation timely.
• Monitor inventory balances and transportation performance; resolve discrepancies.
• Assess impact of outages and constraints; propose solutions to minimize impact.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Risk, Accounting, Tax and Customs teams for compliant execution.
• Build strong relationships with customers, carriers, and operators; drive improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and asset utilization.
• Support month-end activities including reconciliations and inventory balancing.
• Serve as scheduling SME and share knowledge across the team.
