Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited's Electrical Discipline is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of professionals in Ontario. You will lead design efforts, manage projects, and deliver integrated client experiences on environmental, industrial, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects.

This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to base out of any Ontario office. The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering, is licensed or eligible for licensure within

Qualifications

A degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
Licensed to practice as a professional engineer or eligible to be licensed within six months.
A minimum of five (5) years of related professional experience.

Responsibilities

Lead design and project management for electrical systems from concept to commissioning.
Design and draft for power and electrical systems including MV/LV, motor control, lighting, instrumentation and control, and safety systems.
Prepare construction cost estimates and technical specifications, drawings and reports.
Coordinate with utilities, equipment suppliers, contractors and clients on a regular basis.
Peer review to ensure designs meet Canadian Electrical Code, CSA, UL, NFPA and other regulations.
