You will oversee electrical building systems, collaborate across disciplines, manage budgets and schedules, conduct site visits, and support construction-phase activities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consulting engineering experience in building services.
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of electrical building projects from concept through construction.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and designers.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines for integrated solutions.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and provide construction-phase support including contract administration and shop drawing reviews.
• Help recruit, develop, and grow the electrical team while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Key Leader Within The Organization, You Will

• Lead the design and delivery of diverse electrical building projects from concept through construction.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a talented team of engineers and designers.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 10+ years of consulting engineering experience within the building services industry.
• Strong expertise in electrical building systems including power distribution, lighting, life safety, emergency power, and associated building systems.
• Proven experience leading projects and mentoring engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• P.Eng. designation.
