Agilus Consulting Group in Edmonton is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical deliverables on large-scale industrial and energy projects within a hybrid work environment. You will own concepts through commissioning and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with process, mechanical, instrumentation, and automation teams.

The role requires a formal Electrical Engineering degree and a P.Eng designation or eligibility, with proven experience in low- and medium-voltage

Formación

• Hold an accredited Electrical Engineering degree and P.Eng designation or eligibility for registration.
• Strong experience delivering electrical engineering on industrial projects.
• Expertise in low- and medium-voltage power distribution, motor control, protection systems, and VFDs.
• Develop and review electrical deliverables including single-line diagrams, load lists, MCCs, cable schedules, grounding systems, and hazardous area layouts.
• Understand procurement, construction, commissioning, and multidisciplinary project execution processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders while managing priorities in fast-paced project environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical engineering activities for assigned projects and project scopes.
• Develop, review, and approve electrical engineering deliverables and technical documentation.
• Coordinate electrical design activities with process, mechanical, instrumentation, piping, and automation teams.
• Support procurement activities through requisition preparation, vendor reviews, and technical bid evaluations.
• Identify technical risks, resolve engineering issues, and support project change management processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers and designers.
