Government of Alberta is seeking a Senior Education Analyst in Edmonton to support school funding allocations, enrolment projections, and budget analyses. You will develop models, coordinate surveys, and collaborate with program managers and technologists to deliver timely financial insights.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Funding Analysis and Analytics Branch, you would function in a team environment to complete timely and accurate school authority budget allocation and profiles; working within the parameters of relevant legislation; Ministry and government policies, guidelines, and business practices. These documents and projections are critical inputs to Executive Team decision-making and support the coordination, compilation, and consolidation of Ministry budget and financial submissions to Alberta Treasury Board and Finance.

University graduation in a related field (Business, Economics, Statistics, etc) plus 4 years progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent as described below.

1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

There is one permanent position available in Edmonton. This position is 36.25 hours per week, 8:15 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
