Alberta Infrastructure is responsible for delivering about one quarter of the Alberta government’s Capital Plan, which addresses the provincial infrastructure needs of Alberta’s population that support key social programs and services and economic development. The Ministry designs, builds, manages, and maintains government-owned and operated facilities, and collaborates with other ministries to ensure that school and hospital infrastructure meet the needs of Alberta’s population. Infrastructure also provides accommodation services and manages a large portfolio of owned and leased facilities while maintaining fiscal accountability and optimizing value for Albertans.

The Capital Strategy & Partnerships (CSP) branch leads the development of capital strategy, innovative financing solutions and strategic partnerships that support the delivery of public infrastructure across Alberta. The branch assesses opportunities identified by both the Government of Alberta and the private sector to determine whether innovative financing, partnership or delivery approaches can improve project outcomes, optimize the use of public resources and deliver greater value for Albertans.
The Analyst prepares briefing materials, business cases and recommendations for senior leadership and contributes to the continuous improvement of capital strategy, assessment methodologies, governance frameworks and decision-making processes to ensure consistent, transparent and evidence-based outcomes.

Required: High school diploma and three years of related experience.
Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of 1 year of education for 1 year of experience, or 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
For Example:
Related 1 year certificate PLUS a minimum 2 years of experience.
Related 2-year diploma PLUS a minimum 1 years of experience.
Related minimum 3 years of experience.
