Job summary

ONxpress Transportation Partners Inc. is seeking an experienced Document Control Lead to support the GO Expansion program.

You will design and sustain document control frameworks, mentor the team, and ensure high accuracy across drawings, contracts, and permits, while enforcing standards and regulatory compliance. You will work with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to streamline workflows and implement robust document management practices, including training and

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in document management with related education and experience.
• 9+ years in computerized or manual document control, preferably in engineering.
• Experience with electronic drawing formats and project documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Aconex and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance document control frameworks, processes, and systems to support project documentation management.
• Oversee and mentor the document control team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely deliverables.
• Define and maintain document management standards, including versioning, filing, and archival procedures.
• Maintain the quality and integrity of all project documentation (drawings, specs, contracts, permits, correspondence).
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to streamline document workflows and approvals.
• Administer and optimize document control systems and tools to improve tracking and retrieval.
