Job summary

InvestX is seeking an experienced institutional capital raiser to build its Canadian institutional investor business. Working closely with senior leadership and the investment team, this senior individual contributor will have the autonomy to originate relationships, execute a fundraising strategy, and secure capital commitments from institutional allocators.

The role covers capital formation, relationship management, and strategic planning as you lead meetings, develop a qualifying pipeline,

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in institutional capital raising or IR in asset management.
• Proven track record raising from Canadian pensions, endowments, foundations.
• Established relationships in Canadian institutional investment community.
• Ability to originate relationships independently and manage long fundraising cycles.
• Experience with RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and investment presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Canadian fundraising strategy focused on pension plans, endowments, foundations, and other institutional investors.
• Raise capital for InvestX private market funds and, where appropriate, SPVs.
• Lead investor meetings, presentations, and fundraising discussions with institutional allocators.
• Own a qualified institutional pipeline from prospecting through closing.
• Provide market intelligence to inform fundraising priorities and product positioning.
