Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is seeking a seasoned strategic communications leader to guide a global function and align internal and external messaging with the company’s expansion goals.

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Business Portfolio, you will advise the CEO on public positioning, lead crisis and media initiatives, and drive enterprise-wide communication strategies across markets with a focus on AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of strategic communications experience in international environments.
  • Proven expertise in reputation management and crisis communications.
  • Experience leading global communications across multiple countries.
  • Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and articulate a compelling vision.
  • Fluency in French and English with excellent verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global communications strategy aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead the transformation of the matrix operating model and editorial governance.
  • Provide strategic direction for employer branding, corporate reputation, and media initiatives.
  • Advise the CEO and Executive Committee on public positioning and crisis response.
  • Develop thought leadership through executive briefings and op-eds.
  • Ensure consistent corporate narrative across markets and audiences.
  • Oversee internal communications campaigns and annual event content strategy.
  • Manage ESG and community impact communications.

A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Business Portfolio, the incumbent will lead transformational initiatives aimed at evolving Intelcom's communications strategy with a future-focused perspective. They will provide leadership for a global communications function that supports the business strategy, strengthens the company’s reputation, and aligns the employee and customer experience around a consistent and engaging corporate narrative.

As a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will champion key messages and amplify the impact of major initiatives across all internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities
Global Vision & Strategy
  • Define and execute the global communications strategy, including internal, external, and corporate communications, aligned with business priorities and international expansion.
  • Lead the transformation of the matrix operating model and editorial governance.
  • Provide strategic direction for employer branding, corporate reputation, and global media initiatives.
Executive Advisory & Reputation Management
  • Advise the President and Executive Committee on public positioning and reputational matters.
  • Influence strategic decision-making during crisis situations.
  • Develop and strengthen the company’s thought leadership through executive briefings, interviews, and op-eds.
Brand Management & International Visibility
  • Develop proactive media strategies to strengthen the company’s global positioning.
  • Monitor and ensure consistency of the corporate narrative across all markets.
Culture & Internal Communications
  • Develop and execute campaigns and initiatives that foster employee engagement.
  • Align internal communications internationally and support organizational change initiatives.
  • Oversee internal events, including the content strategy for quarterly and annual meetings, as well as station tours.
ESG/CSR & Impact
  • Integrate social, environmental, and community impact into the corporate narrative.
  • Oversee donation and sponsorship programs, as well as ESG reporting.
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Define and manage the department’s annual budget.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic communications within a complex or international environment.
  • Proven expertise in reputation management, crisis communications, media relations, and executive advisory.
  • Experience leading global communications across multiple countries and audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership of creative and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to simplify complexity and articulate a compelling, inspiring vision.
  • Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and creativity.
  • Knowledge of AI applications in communications, including analytics, content creation, and monitoring.
  • Fluency in French and English, with strong verbal, written, and strategic communication skills.
