Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is seeking a capacity planning professional to lead long-term capacity management and resource allocation across a nationwide network. The role partners with Sales, Operations, Finance and other teams to ensure capacity aligns with forecasts and strategic goals.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong data analysis and communication skills. This is a hands-on, full-time role based on-site, offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; related field is acceptable.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in capacity planning or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with large datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Long-term Capacity Management: Assess current capacity to address gaps between forecast and capacity planning.
  • Resource allocation: oversee station capacity including equipment, staffing, layout and other factors.
  • Collaboration: work with Sales, Operations, Finance and other departments to provide visibility on network capacity.
  • Risk management: identify risks related to capacity constraints and propose mitigations.
  • Developing strategies: implement strategies for effective logistics operations.
  • Reporting: prepare accurate reports for upper management.
  • S&OP: serve as the main representative of capacity in the S&OP process.
  • Assess regional opportunities to increase market speed and share.

A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic
  • Long-term Capacity Management: Assess current capacity to address any gaps between long-term forecast and long-term capacity planning
  • Resource allocation: Become the gate keeper of the station’s capacity by overseeing the different variable bellow:
    • building capacity with the alignment of the physical specifications of the stations
    • operational capacity by considering equipment, staffing plans, layout, and other relevant factors.
    • delivery capacity by considering driver availability, vehicle types, parcel mix, and similar factors.
  • Collaboration: Work with Sales, Operation, Finance and various other department to provide visibility and transparencies on the capacity of across the network, while also making sure that all insight we receive from the other stakeholder are accounted for.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks related to capacity constraints and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Developing Strategies: Implementing strategies for effective logistics operations
  • Reporting: Preparing accurate reports for upper management
  • Become the main representative of the capacity in the S&OP process

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and the ability to work with complex datasets using tools such as Excel, SQL, or other relevant software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide actionable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail while maintaining a holistic view of capacity planning
