Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior Director, Process Excellence to lead AI-driven value-stream redesigns across the enterprise. You will partner with business leaders, HR, and the Digital and Innovation Organization to define future workflows and place AI and human judgment where it adds the most value.

You will develop the operating system for continuous improvement, embed lean practices, and coach teams at scale to sustain gains.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years leading enterprise-level operational excellence in global organizations.
• Fluency in Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, and value stream methods.
• Working knowledge of AI, analytics, automation, and digital platforms.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills with credibility working with senior leaders.
• Experience developing management practices and tools built on lean principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Preferred: hands-on process mining, HR capability programs, tech/infrastructure environments, and Lean Six Sigma/change-management certs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sessions with business leaders and engineers to examine how work actually flows and define the future flow.
• Integrate Lean, Six Sigma, BPM with process mining to ground redesigns in current work and aim for measurable gains.
• Advise leadership on where AI applies and where it does not, challenging designs that only speed up existing processes.
• Coach parts of the organization on building an operating system that sustains continuous improvement.
• Embed process excellence disciplines at scale and build communities of practice in process redesign and AI-enabled improvement.
