Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents' dietary needs in Ontario. You will assist with setup, meal service, and dining room cleanliness to ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests.

The role requires a Food Handler's Certificate, strong customer service, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods. A second language is a plus, and a Vulnerable Sector Check may be required.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate required.
• Preference for previous experience in food service with seniors.
• Must be enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program.
• Must be able to lift and stand for long periods.
• Second language is an asset.
• Willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Assist in set up and preparation for service of beverages, salads, desserts, etc.
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and kitchen areas.
• Support cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas.
• Assist in catering and events as needed.
