Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate is required.
• Experience in food service with seniors is preferred.
• Must have or be enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program.
• Able to lift and stand for the majority of shift.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Assist in setup and preparation for service of beverages, salads, desserts, etc.
• Set and clear tables and deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and cutlery after seating.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining area as required.
• Assist with catering and participate in special events.
• Assist in orientation and training of new dietary staff.
• Follow health and safety legislation and department procedures.
• Comply with provincial regulations and policies.
