Job summary

Intact is seeking a Senior Solution Architect - Digital to lead solution architecture for backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations powering web and mobile apps. You will design scalable enablement services, drive security improvements, and guide migrations to AWS, across architecture concerns including cloud, DevSecOps, and integration patterns.

You will collaborate with product teams, define roadmaps, and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• University degree in information technology, software engineering or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge & architecture experience in software architecture (micro/macros/monolithic), APIs, RESTful, SaaS.
• Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, Apache Flink).
• Cloud Architecture (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Authentication, OAuth, Kubernetes, SaaS, CI/CD, Git, OWASP standards.
• Digital (Online solutions and Mobile applications).
• Marketing technologies (email, SMS, Push messaging, CDP, analytics).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate solution definition within the company as a central project and product team player.
• Participate in product selection when a new product or technology is required.
• Develop standard patterns with architects and help define enterprise technology value metrics.
• Research, evaluate and select software technology and product standards and standard configurations.
• Define architecture metrics and monitor portfolio health across projects.
• Mentor development teams on architecture design and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals.
• Document all solution architecture design and analysis work.
