Job summary

Appnovation Technologies is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to scale our platform for tens of thousands of users on AWS. You will design caching tiers, multi-region federation, and ensure robust security and access controls for sensitive content.

You will own the architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and define non-functional requirements such as availability, resilience, and observability, while collaborating with security and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years engineering experience with 3+ years in architecture.
• Senior cloud architecture on AWS; certification preferred.
• Caching, data federation, and performance/load testing.
• Security architecture including RBAC/ABAC.

Responsibilities

• Architect platform for enterprise-scale on AWS.
• Evaluate scalability of Postgres/Supabase backend; design caching tiers, multi-region, and global federation as needed.
• Own the load-testing strategy and responsiveness targets across geographies.
• Ensure the architecture meets security and access-control needs for sensitive content.
• Produce architecture diagrams, decision records, and technical standards.
• Guide and mentor engineers on cloud best practices and patterns.
• Define non-functional requirements (availability, resilience, cost, observability).
• Partner with security and compliance to meet enterprise controls.
