Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) is seeking a Consultant, Application Development to help deliver enterprise-scale regulatory and reporting applications within its Capital Markets, Total Risk Management Technology group. You will design, develop, and integrate solutions across multiple back-end systems, guiding technical design and ensuring high-quality code.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with C#.NET concepts (OOP, SOLID) and production-ready code.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, stored procedures, joins and query optimization.
• Nice-to-have Azure Cloud experience (Functions, Blob Storage, microservices).
• Knowledge of unit tests and automation testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications, outline technical architecture and integration plan.
• Lead multi-project roadmaps aligning with business goals and backend systems.
• Act as development lead, conduct code reviews and mentor teammates.
