Job summary

RBC in TORONTO is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to support application teams with DevOps needs and CI/CD implementation. You will guide and troubleshoot across CICD migrations and major initiatives, working closely with application teams.

You will migrate deployments from Jenkins, RLM or manual processes to GitHub Actions, build and debug pipelines, and automate integration. The role requires hands-on experience with Maven, POMs, and containerization technologies including Docker and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including creating and debugging stages.
• Experience with Maven – POM, SuperPOM; writing POM and Settings from scratch.
• Experience building for NPM and PyPi; understand npm commands and .NET – dotnet/msbuild.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related tooling.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Kubectl.
• Scripting in Groovy, Shell, and Python; strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Migrate app teams from Jenkins, RLM or manual deployment to GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps issues in the CICD pipeline.
• Create and debug CI/CD pipeline stages and settings.
• Implement automation/configuration for successful integration.
• Write POM and Settings from scratch across multiple code bases.
• Set up GitHub Actions workflows, details, and runners.
