Qualifications

Senior-level data platform experience with production systems.
Strong programming and problem-solving in Python, SQL, APIs and testing.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, workflows and warehouse operations.
DevOps practices including CI/CD and secure configuration.
Ability to work through ambiguity and communicate trade-offs clearly.

Responsibilities

Assess current platform with stakeholders to identify reliability and workflow gaps.
Propose data observability, orchestration and data lineage approaches.
Evaluate tools against needs, security, cost and operations.
Design and build proofs of concept with clear success criteria.
Develop reusable software, integrations and automation for reliability.
Define monitoring, incident response and ownership for production readiness.
