Job summary

Project X Ltd. is seeking a Solutions Architect to turn messy data into scalable architectures. You will design end-to-end data solutions, lead migrations, and partner with analytics teams on AI/ML workloads using Snowflake, Snowpipe, Snowpark, and BI tools.

The role requires 5+ years in data architecture/engineering, strong SQL/Python, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP). Hybrid work model in Toronto, Canada is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data architecture or engineering with hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Snowflake performance tuning, clustering keys, and cost optimization.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with data modeling, integration, and governance.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions from strategy to deployment.
• Shape enterprise data strategy, architecture, and governance.
• Lead data migration and integration projects using Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to support AI/ML workloads with Snowpark and Python.
• Build and optimize cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and lead workshops on data architecture best practices.
• Drive performance optimization and cost efficiency across deployments.
