Job summary

Myticas Consulting in Canada is seeking a Senior Data Migration Advisor to lead a complex ERP data migration from AX 2009 to Dynamics 365 F&O. This is a part-time consulting role (~20 hours per week) with a hybrid work model to support Go-Live and governance through the project lifecycle.

You will define the data migration master plan, oversee a small execution team, ensure data quality, and engage with stakeholders and executives to mitigate risk and maintain timelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading enterprise ERP data migration programs.
• Migration from AX 2009 to D365 F&O.
• Expert SQL Server and T-SQL scripting.
• Experience developing governance models and master migration plans.
• Data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Data Migration Strategy for the D365 F&O implementation.
• Develop and maintain the end-to-end Data Migration Master Plan.
• Define migration waves, sequencing, dependencies, cutover strategy, and business continuity.
• Establish migration governance, quality standards, KPIs, and Go/No-Go criteria.
• Develop migration schedules, resource plans, and migration roadmap.
• Lead data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and QA.
• Plan mock migrations, dress rehearsals, production cutovers, and Go-Live activities.
• Identify migration risks and mitigate to minimize disruption.
• Provide strategic guidance to a team of Data Migration Specialists.
• Review deliverables to ensure timelines and quality.
• Partner with stakeholders and implementation partners throughout the lifecycle.
