Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Developer to join our growing Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Practice. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and can be located anywhere in Canada.

You will design and develop Microsoft Dynamics systems, focusing on enhancements, extensions, and integration, while leveraging Azure, Power BI, and related technologies. The candidate should have 3+ years of D365 F&O development experience and strong X++ skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations development experience.
• Excellent in development using X++.
• Establish and apply development best practices and design principles.
• Knowledgeable on Azure, Power Apps, SSRS, SQL, C# / .Net.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, TFVC, VSTS, JSON, Odata, SOAP, REST; Azure Logic Apps a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Preferred knowledge of Azure Data Lake and DIXF; data conversion/integration is a plus.
• Proficient communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Microsoft Dynamics systems to meet business needs.
• Accountable for development for enhancements, extensions, defect corrections, and integration in Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Identify design problems and devise elegant cross-technology solutions.
• Understand D365 F&O stack and related technologies like Azure, Power BI, and more.
• Take a user-centered approach and rapidly iterate.
