Myticas Consulting in Canada is seeking a Senior Data Migration Advisor to lead a complex ERP data migration from AX 2009 to Dynamics 365 F&O. This is a part-time consulting role (~20 hours per week) with a hybrid work model to support Go-Live and governance through the project lifecycle.

You will define the data migration master plan, oversee a small execution team, ensure data quality, and engage with stakeholders and executives to mitigate risk and maintain timelines.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Migration Advisor to provide strategic leadership and oversight for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) ERP implementation. This is a part-time consulting opportunity (approximately 20 hours per week) supporting the project through Go-Live.

The successful candidate will lead the overall data migration strategy while mentoring a small execution team responsible for the day-to-day migration activities. This role is focused on planning, governance, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, and executive oversight—not hands‑on execution alone.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading enterprise ERP data migration programs, with proven success migrating Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, preferably within manufacturing or supply chain environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Data Migration Strategy for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) implementation.

• Support post-Go-Live stabilization activities related to migrated data.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years leading enterprise ERP data migration programs.
• Proven experience migrating Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Expert-level SQL Server and T-SQL scripting experience, including custom migration solutions outside of the standard D365 Data Management Framework (DMF).
• Extensive experience developing enterprise-scale migration strategies, governance models, and master migration plans.
• Strong expertise in data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration quality assurance.
