Qualifications

  • Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA development.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial networks, motion control, and robotics.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation challenges.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and commission advanced control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA for industrial automation.
  • Develop and optimize control strategies to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot complex control system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new equipment and technologies into existing control systems.
  • Maintain and update control system documentation, including logic, schematics, and network configurations.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join their operations team in Kimberley.
