Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer with automation expertise to join our Kimberley-based manufacturing team. You will design, implement, and optimize automated systems, leading projects that integrate robotics, PLCs and control systems to improve efficiency and safety.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure projects meet quality and compliance standards while pursuing continuous improvement in production capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with an automation focus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with specialization in automation and robotics.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automated production lines.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and robotic systems integration.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards for automation and control systems.
