Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with 3+ years in a managerial or Controller role.
• Experience in project-based industries, energy, or infrastructure is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems. Proven ability to develop budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close, financial statements, and reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements related to renewable energy projects, including tax credits and grants.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting to support project development.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decisions and capital planning.
• Oversee corporate compliance and registrations of parent and subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to track project financial performance.
• Lead and mentor finance and accounting staff.
