This is a billable, client‑facing role that works closely with Compugen’s Advanced Solutions group and sales teams, providing technical consulting, architecture, implementation, migration, and lifecycle guidance for customer environments. The role reports to the Managing Principal Consultant, Enterprise Network and Security, and is based in Vancouver, BC or Edmonton, AB.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support campus, branch, wireless, and data centre network solutions for Compugen customers.
  • Deliver Aruba‑based switching, wireless, and network access solutions across enterprise customer environments.
  • Design and implement Juniper‑based routing, switching, and enterprise networking solutions where required.
  • Support Cisco data centre and advanced networking initiatives, including Cisco ACI environments.
  • Contribute to network security projects where networking and security architectures intersect, including segmentation, access control, policy enforcement, and zero‑trust design.
  • Produce high‑quality design documentation, implementation plans, test plans, migration plans, and as‑built deliverables.
  • Participate in customer workshops, technical discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and solution recommendations.
  • Work with internal sales and Advanced Solutions teams to support technical scoping, assessments, and pre‑sales validation.
  • Provide customer‑facing technical leadership while maintaining strong communication, professionalism, and delivery discipline.
Skills & Qualifications
  • College or university education, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with a strong emphasis on enterprise networking.
  • 8+ years of hands‑on experience with routing and switching technologies in enterprise customer environments.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting HPE Aruba networking solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience with Aruba switching, wireless, and campus network deployments.
  • 5+ years of experience with Juniper enterprise networking technologies, including routing and switching.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions across multi‑site or large‑scale customer environments.
  • Experience with secure network architecture principles, including segmentation, access control, and resilient enterprise design.
  • Strong customer‑facing skills, including verbal, written, presentation, listening, and time‑management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proven ability to work independently in client‑facing consulting and delivery engagements.
  • Current Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification, in good standing, is required.
Other Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Cisco ACI, with this considered a major asset and potentially a required skill depending on team needs.
  • Experience with Cisco routing and switching in enterprise or data centre environments.
  • Experience with Aruba ClearPass or similar network access control / policy platforms.
  • Experience with wireless design, campus modernisation, and branch transformation.
  • Experience with SD‑WAN, data centre networking, or multi‑site enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to projects involving network security, segmentation, policy, identity, or zero‑trust access concepts.
  • Network automation skills are a strong plus, including Ansible, Terraform, Python, or API‑driven operations.
  • Experience with structured project delivery methodologies and enterprise change control practices.
  • Current certifications from HPE Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, Arista, Meraki, or other relevant enterprise networking and security vendors are considered a major asset.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
