Job summary

Compugen Inc in Richmond Hill is seeking an IT hardware technician to configure, refurbish and support client systems.

You will troubleshoot PC and server hardware, follow ISO procedures, and collaborate with internal staff to meet daily production deadlines. The role requires strong communication, fast learning and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Electronics or related Information Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years PC industry experience including refurbishing, setup and imaging on desktops, notebooks, printers, etc.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in relation to PC and Server based hardware.
• Fast learner; Proactive self-starter.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal guidance; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail; proven track record of delivering quality work based on precision workmanship.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities
