What you'll be doing

The Senior Consultant, Human Resources (HR) Regulatory Compliance, supports the Director, HR Regulatory Affairs, in overseeing global HR compliance activities. This includes guiding HR partners and leaders through regulatory assessments, providing analysis and advice to maintain a robust compliance program aligned with the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) framework. The role also involves managing specific regulatory reports, such as the annual employment equity report.

Work Arrangement

We offer a flexible hybrid work environment, typically involving 1-3 days on-site per week. Specific arrangements will be discussed during your interview.

How you'll succeed
  • Execution/Implementation: Ensure activities comply with enterprise and US RCM requirements, monitor deficiency action plans, and assess regulatory changes for reporting.
  • Collaboration & Relationship Building: Engage with HR and external counsel, manage compliance review meetings, and coordinate regulatory reporting.
  • Analytical Thinking: Provide analysis to support compliance and risk mitigation, assess external counsel engagements.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, partner with internal teams to ensure controls, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Document processes, train new HR partners, and seek process efficiencies.
Who you are
  • Have 4-5 years of HR or related regulatory experience; a Bachelor’s degree or Law Clerk training is preferred; intermediate French reading skills are a plus.
  • Influential, motivated, independent, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with some ambiguity.
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and adaptability to evolving regulations.
  • A problem solver capable of analyzing situations and developing solutions within tight timelines.
  • Open to change, with excellent communication skills, able to build relationships across levels and departments.
  • Values alignment with trust, teamwork, and accountability.
