Job summary

SITE Resource Group Limited Partnership is hiring a Surveyor to support projects across Northern Alberta. You will conduct topographic surveys, collect field data, and prepare reports to guide project planning and design.

You will work with construction teams to ensure survey data aligns with specifications and regulatory standards. The role requires post-secondary education in a related field and 5+ years of surveying experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or college diploma or equivalent in surveying, geomatics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities; detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction layouts using traditional and advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
• Gather field data, measurements and observations with accuracy for project development.
• Produce detailed survey reports and maps documenting findings for team use.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure survey data meets project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Inspect, maintain and calibrate surveying instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in site layouts, grades and elevations to align with project plans.
• Visit sites to verify conditions and resolve discrepancies between survey data and actual site conditions.
