Job summary

SITE Resource Group Limited Partnership (SRG) is hiring a Surveyor to conduct topographic surveys for Northern Alberta projects. You will collect field data, prepare reports, and support design and planning teams with accurate survey outputs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction surveying, experience with Topcon/Trimble grade control systems and total stations, and demonstrate rigorous safety and data‑driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience as a Surveyor in construction.
  • Proficient with Topcon and Trimble grade control systems and total stations.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in surveying and construction.
  • Strong data interpretation and ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
  • Ability to resolve on-site issues based on survey data.
  • Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis.

Job description

We are recruiting a Surveyor to join our team for upcoming projects in Northern Alberta. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine topography and other physical features on a variety of construction and development projects. You will use a range of surveying instruments and techniques to collect accurate data, prepare reports, and provide essential information to support project planning and design.

Responsibilities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, data recording, and report generation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present survey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to identify potential issues on-site and provide practical solutions based on survey data
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
