Job summary

Allnorth Consultants Limited seeks a seasoned Construction Manager to lead industrial projects in mining, pulp & paper, or heavy industrial sectors. You will deliver projects safely, coordinate with engineering, and supervise internal teams and contractors across multiple disciplines.

You will drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence while collaborating with clients and stakeholders to meet project goals in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Construction Manager in mining, pulp & paper, or heavy industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction execution plans, safety plans, environmental plans, quality management plans, RFIs, change notices, NCRs, commissioning, energization, as-builts, and contract compliance.

ADayintheLife

• Manage the Construction Execution Plan, Safety Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Requests for Information,Change Notices, Non-Conformance Reports, commissioning and energization processes, as-built completions, and contract compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure work is executed in accordance with design specifications, standards, and contractual requirements while prioritizing safety.
• Assistwiththerecruitment,development,andretentionofprojectteams,includinginternalteammembers,contractors,andsubcontractors.
• Establishandmaintainstronginterpersonalrelationshipstoeffectivelycommunicateandcollaboratewithindividualsatalllevels.
• Developremediationplanswiththeprojectteamtoaddressscheduleorcostissues.

WhatYou’llBringtotheTeam

• Aminimumof10yearsofexperienceasaConstructionManagerinthemining,pulpandpaper,orheavyindustrialsectors.
• Academicqualificationsand/orexperiencethatenableyoutoeffectivelyinterfacewithengineeringandmanagementteams.
• Aresults orientedapproachwiththeabilitytomanagemultiplecompetingprioritiesandtimelines.
• Stronganalytical,problem-solving,audit,andinvestigationskills.
• Demonstratedleadershipexperienceworkingwithmultipleinternaldisciplinesandexternalclientsacrosscivil,structural,process,electrical,mechanical,andothertechnicalareas.
• Workingknowledgeofcontracttermsandconditions,withtheabilitytomanageworkinaccordancewithcontractspecifications.
• Strongcommunication,interpersonal,andteam-buildingskillswithinadiverseworkgroup.
• Availabilitytoworkatprojectsitesasrequired,dependingonprojectneeds.
