Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, deploy, and manage cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and other public clouds. The role emphasizes high availability, security, and cost-efficient operations, including leading migrations from on-prem to hosted clouds and implementing robust security controls.

Candidate will leverage Terraform/Ansible/Puppet for IaC, build CI/CD pipelines, and automate repetitive tasks with Python/Bash/PowerShell, while ensuring privacy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a System/Cloud Administrator role.
• Strong proficiency with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with database platforms: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Proficient with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
• Experience with AI prompting and privacy/IP considerations.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, configure, and support cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and other public clouds for high availability, performance, and security.
• Lead migration of on-premise customer environments to hosted cloud platforms, aligning milestones with commitments and forecasts.
• Implement and maintain security measures including identity management, network segmentation, and compliance controls.
• Configure secure integrations with external services (OAuth, Microsoft 365, GSuite, third-party apps).
• Develop IaC with Terraform/Ansible/Puppet; build toward a fully automated CI/CD pipeline; create automation scripts.
