Job summary

Canadian Inclusion is seeking a Senior System Administrator (Government) to architect, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and other public clouds. You will lead migration efforts from on-Prem to hosted clouds, implement security controls, and optimize resources while ensuring compliance and customer SLAs.

The role emphasizes IaC development, automation, and AI-assisted tooling usage to improve workflows, with strong focus on data privacy and IP protection.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a System/Cloud Administrator role.
• Proficient with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including deployment.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Oracle.
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Working proficiency across Linux and Windows server operating systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet).
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI prompting and privacy/IP awareness.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive issues to resolution independently.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, configure, and support cloud infrastructure for high availability, performance, and security.
• Lead migration of on-premise environments to hosted cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain security measures across cloud environments.
• Configure secure integrations with external services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide primary technical support and resolve issues within SLAs.
