Job summary

Prevue HR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead architecture, delivery, and the operational health of our software solutions built on C# / .NET and AWS. This is a technical leadership role: you'll spend time on system design, AWS infrastructure, DevOps ownership, mentoring, and hands-on coding when needed.

Deep AWS expertise and significant DevOps experience are required, and you're accountable for how our systems are built, deployed, and kept running in production, not just

Qualifications

• Significant AWS experience (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation/CDK).
• Strong DevOps background with IaC experience.
• Strong C# and .NET experience; able to write code when needed.
• Proven experience leading software projects and mentoring developers.
• Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical direction; set design standards.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure for web and database servers.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Mentor and lead code reviews for junior and intermediate developers.
• Write and review C# / .NET code for critical features and patterns.
• Drive the full SDLC from requirements to maintenance.
• Resolve complex production issues and deployment problems.
• Stay current on AWS, DevOps tooling, and .NET updates.
• Collaborate with QA, customer success, and designers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and retrospectives.
• Document designs and infrastructure configurations.
• Drive continuous improvement with automation and DevOps practices.
