Job summary

BA Blacktop Ltd. is seeking a Superintendent to lead planning, scheduling, and execution of road construction projects in the Port Kells (Surrey) area with projects across the Fraser Valley. The role emphasizes safety adherence, contract compliance, and budget alignment.

The successful candidate will coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors, and will monitor project costs and schedules, ensuring high-quality site supervision and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management, roadbuilding, or related field.
• Read and interpret site plans/blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, Kheops, and Intelex.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute construction operations in alignment with safety standards, contracts, and budget.
• Coordinate crew, equipment, and subcontractors with PM and Construction Manager.
• Prepare three-week look-ahead schedules and document communications with customers.
• Review costs and budgets in project systems; monitor variances with project managers.
