Job summary

CBCL Limited seeks a Municipal/Civil Engineer in Halifax to lead design assignments and deliver practical municipal infrastructure solutions. You will coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and senior engineers while applying best practices in water, wastewater, and stormwater projects across Atlantic Canada.

The role requires 5+ years of municipal infrastructure experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and P.Eng. eligibility or designation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and P.Eng. or eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years of municipal infrastructure design and delivery.
• Strong ability to communicate technically in reports and proposals.
• Experience with ASCE/municipal standards and regulatory interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review contract documents with sound technical judgment.
• Contribute to design and planning of municipal infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical input and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform site visits, field assessments, and construction input.
• Prepare reports, feasibility studies, drawings, and tender documents.
