Sienna Senior Living in Scarborough, ON is hiring a Personal Support Worker (Permanent, Full-Time). The role focuses on compassionate resident care, daily living activities, and supportive services within a Long Term Care setting. Competitive benefits and a collaborative team culture are offered.

Formación

• Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit.
• Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Experience providing bedside care and simple treatments.
• Ability to communicate with residents and families respectfully.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (eating, dressing, hygiene) per care plans.
• Assist residents with communications and mobility aids; encourage use of sensory aids.
• Administer specific medications under supervision of a registered health professional when trained.
• Ensure residents have access to mobility devices and call bells at all times.
• Support resident comfort, well-being and participation in programs.
