Job summary

Norfinch Community - North York is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join Sienna Senior Living. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $27.45–$29.10 under the collective agreement and is an existing vacancy dedicated to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

As part of the Long Term Care team, you will support residents with daily living, assist with care plans, and help residents participate in wellbeing programs. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• You have completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
• You are able to support daily living activities per resident plans of care.
• With additional prescribed training, administer specific medication under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living as per care plans.
• Provide resident care and services, including facilitating communication and helping with mobility and devices.
• Support resident comfort and wellbeing through cognitive, social, emotional, and oral care; encourage participation in programs.
