Qualifications

• 10–15 years of civil CAD experience on municipal infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to mentor junior CAD technicians.
• Strong knowledge of municipal drafting standards and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and construction details per municipal standards.
• Produce drafting deliverables for civil infrastructure projects.
• Establish project reference files, templates, and sheet configurations.
• Manage CAD documentation per client quality standards.
• Coordinate drafting with engineers and project teams.
• Develop horizontal/vertical alignments in Civil 3D.
• Prepare cross-sections and quantity extraction.
• Create 3D design and corridor modelling using Civil 3D workflows.
• Participate in project delivery using document management platforms.
• Mentor and review work of junior CAD technicians.
