Job summary

Egis Canada in Toronto is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 15+ years of design experience to lead major civil, land development and municipal projects from concept to construction.

You will direct multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor junior staff, manage client relations with municipalities and developers, and contribute to business development and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of design experience on large-scale projects.
• Professional Engineer in Ontario in good standing.
• Strong AutoCAD/Civil3D/MicroStation/BIM/Revit skills.
• Excellent English communication; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of urban development, municipal approvals and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of civil, land development and municipal projects from concept to construction.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical authority in stormwater, water servicing and road design.
• Manage client relations with developers and municipalities.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and submissions for approvals.
• Assist with budgets, forecasting, invoicing and contract administration.
• Provide construction-phase leadership and QA across project lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, technologists and interns for technical growth.
• Contribute to business development and client proposals.
• Promote sustainable design principles and regulatory compliance.
