Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking a Civil CAD Technician to contribute to land development and municipal engineering projects. You will draft engineering drawings, prepare 3-D models, and ensure design documents meet municipal standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers across multidisciplinary projects. Applicants should have a college diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design Technology and up to five years of relevant experience, with strong English communication and

Qualifications

Completion of a college diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design Technology, or similar.
Up to 5 years of industry experience with focus on land development or municipal engineering design and construction.
Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Experience with cloud-based platforms (ProjectWise, BIM360, Procore, SharePoint) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Designing and drafting of engineering/construction drawings for land development projects.
Create plans, profiles and 3-D drawings in Civil 3D format.
Interpret and implement standards from regulatory bodies.
Produce written reports for development projects.
Produce design spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
Maintain client relationships with stakeholders.
Provide site supervision on construction projects.
