Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support Canada's real-time payments initiative. This role focuses on real-time rails, e-Transfer/RTP, direct payment capabilities, and payment API integrations.

You will partner with business, architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, document APIs and data mappings, and mentor junior staff on payments modernization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• ISO 20022 experience, including mapping and payment rail modernization.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture.

Insight Global looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a Canadian Online Real-Time Payments initiative. This role will focus on real-time payment rails, e-Transfer/RTP, direct payment capabilities, and payment API integrations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, can work comfortably with APIs and technical specifications, and is able to bridge conversations between business and technology teams.

We may use AI to source resumes, conduct interviews with recruiter oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Strong understanding of: APIs / REST APIs JSON Swagger / OpenAPI Schemas Data mapping and integration requirements
• ISO 20022 experience, including mapping, and payment rail modernization.
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Ability to understand and communicate the intersection between business requirements and technical architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with low-value payments.
• Knowledge of Interac e-Transfer / Canadian RTP capabilities.
• Experience with Mastercard Send.
• Cloud engineering or solution architecture exposure.
• Experience supporting broader payment portfolios or transformation programs.
