We are seeking a detailed and results-oriented BI professional to provide second and third tier support for IBM Cognos Analytics applications and IBM DataStage ETL jobs. The role involves troubleshooting and diagnosing complex application issues within Finance, Human Resources, and Business and Maintenance domains.

You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Architects to understand business requirements and develop detailed design specifications. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and database problems, assisting with IBM Cognos Analytics server software installation, upgrades, testing, and configuring models of packaged applications. Ensuring quality assurance and maintaining the integrity of data reported from IBM Cognos Analytics and ETL systems are essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience, education, and training.
• Proven experience with Cognos Analytics, including Query Studio, Report Studio, Framework Manager, and Transformer cube design and development.
• Experience with Data Warehousing, MS Power BI, and MS Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is an asset.
